Tunbridge Wells Wedding at Hotel Du Vin

Welcome back to my photography masterclass. I was delighted to be asked to take photographs for Patrick & Lavinia's Wedding at Hotel Du Vin in Tunbridge Wells. When I used to shoot on film, I'd have to take around 12 rolls of films, which aimed to cover all the different lighting situations, but of course with digital now you can simply change the ISO in the camera. Setting your camera to a high ISO speed also means you don't need to shoot with flash. A great boon for sensitive shots like swopping rings. However, I always recommend using flash for outdoor group shots to remove shadows under the eyes & add some sparkle. On the flip side, photographers now have to edit all their photos, whereas in the past your developer would have done this for you. Life is full of swings and roundabouts! I used three cameras with interchangeable lens to save time. This intimate wedding, was blessed with great weather and the vibe was really special. Helen.xx
